(I could leave today) California dreaming On such a winter's day Stopped into a church I passed along the way Well I got down on my knees And I pretend to pray I pretend to pray You know the preacher likes the cold He knows I m gonna stay California dreaming On such a winter's day 这是美国60年代最著名的嬉皮士乐队 THE BABAS AND MAMAS（爸爸和妈妈） 1965年的作品《California dreaming》，中文译名就是“加洲梦想”，影片(阿甘正传)里就在表现六十年代美国风潮云涌的民潮运动时，就采用了这首曲子，是对当时场景的最佳写照。不过对我们这些影迷来说，重新认识这只曲子是在1994年王家卫拍摄的那部〈重庆森林〉，是在快餐店员阿菲摇头晃脑的随旋律来回摆动的场景。王家卫在此片中一共播放了13遍《Californiadreaming》，并在结尾让阿菲踏上了飞往加洲的班机，而663坐在 “加洲酒吧”里对着克罗娜喃喃自语的说着 “那晚我们大家都在加洲，但我们之间却相差15个小时，现在她那边是早上12点。不知道，今晚8点，她会不会约我”。一年以后，空姐打扮的阿菲回到了快餐店前，却惊喜的发现已接手快餐店的663，而新店名就叫 “加洲”。可以说，王家卫其实是在讲述一个关于加洲，关于梦想的故事。
