1968出生在日本SAITAMA。从儿时起就对星座和天文感兴趣。
1984开始对电脑发生兴趣。
1988进入东京设计学校平面造型设计专业，开始职业生涯。
1990毕业于高等学校并开始为Hoshino-techo co.,ltd.作为一种新的绘画方式，他开始用电脑绘制草图和创作。
1995开始“纯粹的数字绘画”从草图到着色都用电脑做。
1996“12星座插图” 智力拼图诞生日本。这个系列曾经十分流行并且直到今天依旧畅销。
1997开始“星空的探索”系列。
1998获得“"Digital Fine Art Session '98" by Trans-Modern Art Ltd.,” 金奖。“星空的探索”系列智力拼图诞生于日本。
1999“星空的探索”限量版油画在日本推出
2000“星座”限量版油画推出。“AMBIENTE”获得“第7届微型出版新设计艺术比赛”一等奖，主办方是HEWLETT 包装公司。

KAGAYA
1968 Born in Saitama Pref., Japan. Since he was a child, he has been interested in the constellation and astronomy.
1984 Start to have interest in computer.
1988 Entered Tokyo Designer School of Graphic Design. He started to paint professionally.
1990 Graduated from the above school and start to work for Hoshino-techo co.,ltd. As a new method of his painting, he start to use a computer to draw sketches and compositions.
1995 Start "Pure Digital Painting" from sketch to coloring to the complete painting.
1996 "12 zodiac illustrations" Jigsaw puzzle was released in Japan. This series has been very popular and continues to be a top seller today.
1997 The start of "Celestial Exploring".
1998 Awarded the Gold Prize of "Digital Fine Art Session '98" by Trans-Modern Art Ltd., "Celestial Exploring" Jigsaw puzzle was released in Japan.
1999 "Celestial Exploring" limited edition Giclee on canvas was released.
2000 "the Zodiac" limited edition Giclee on canvas was released. "Ambiente" won first-place in the digital painting department of "the Seventh Annual Micro Publishing News Digital Art Contest" sponsored by Hewlett-Packard Co.
