有人喜欢chris de burgh的歌手吗？

看来喜欢chris de burgh的很是寥寥，我来顶一下，看到我的用户名就会猜到，我可是burgh的铁杆歌迷，八年如一日。原来我在tompda论坛上和telefox和李辉老兄有一个长达十来页的帖子讨论我们所喜欢的歌手和音乐……chris de burgh ，don mclean ，bob dylan，民谣，爱尔兰音乐，很可惜由于tompda的空间问题，帖子最后被删除，telefox曾提议再开贴议论，但tompda毕竟不是一个专门讨论音乐的地方，知道墨孩兄弟在这里发表，我欣然响应，欢迎telefox和李辉还有其他喜欢chris de burgh的朋友继续我们的音乐与口水之旅。。。

“小弟忘了中国还有讲藏、蒙、维、朝鲜等等等等语的，故“中国是讲汉语的”竟被证了伪。呜呼哀哉！” ：） 且不说加拿大在语种分区上本就有英语区（如安大略）和法语区（如魁北克）之分，它的官方语言毫无疑问是有英语和法语两种的，讲法语的人数比例比讲英语的小但又比较接近，绝对人数可相当多，所以说“加拿大讲英语”无疑失之片面。 爱尔兰的官方语言是英语和爱尔兰语（盖尔语，属凯尔特语系）。虽然作为爱尔兰第一官方语言的爱尔兰语已经少人使用甚至濒临失传，但在整个爱尔兰民间以及苏格兰、威尔士的一部分地区，讲传统凯尔特语的人还多着呢！ 而中国的情况不同。中国的官方语言就是汉语，不会有满、藏、蒙、朝鲜、维、哈等其它语种，因为，抛开国家政策不提，这些少数民族无论就其绝对人数、占中国总人口比例还是在中国政治经济文化生活中所起的作用来说都还没到应有的“标准”。走在大街上，你不会像在加拿大一样遇到他只能说A语你只能说B语而你们无法交流的情况——当然，汉语各种方言造成的障碍不考虑在内。 所以，加拿大或者爱尔兰的语言问题与咱们中国的语言问题可不是一回事，不可混为一谈。 我这废话说了一大筐，不好意思，还是继续聊CHRIS DE BURGH吧！ ：）

听chris de burgh的歌，常常被优美之极的旋律所吸引，忽略了歌词的意义。实际上chris de burgh的歌曲特别是早期的，歌词是非常重要的，例如他最有名的专辑spainish train and other stories，十首歌讲了十个光怪陆离的故事，开曲西班牙火车是上帝和魔鬼用赌博争夺一个死者的灵魂，简直抵得上一幕个人戏剧，有前线士兵写给后方爱人的一封信，有脱衣舞女和法官的黑色幽默，最后一首just another poor boy是关于一个孩子由于传播思想被绞死的故事，里面有一首我和telefox、墨孩都非常喜欢的a spaceman came travelling，就是齐秦曾翻唱的“直到世界末日”，是取材自耶稣诞生的圣经故事，不过赋予了现代的科幻背景。 相较之下，后期chris de burgh的歌词越来越自白，晦涩的成分减少了。近来听得比较多的他2000发行的Quiet Revolution专辑，觉得精彩不输于他以往的最好。 在chris de burgh的所有专辑里，我最喜欢的是spainish train and other stories和Beautiful Dreams ，后者是他和一个管弦乐团（忘了是哪个？）和威尔士男生合唱团合作的现场录音室作品，他的以往作品和Beatles、roy orbison等的经典老歌、得赞一赞chris de burgh的嗓音，和一个管弦乐团现场合作同样没有被乐团的声音压倒，一如既往地深情、高亢。

没想到获得2003年世界小姐冠军的爱尔兰小姐Rosanna居然是chris de burgh的大女儿，呵呵。 chris在86年的专辑Into The Light里有一首for rosanna就是写给他刚出生的女儿的，钢琴伴奏，歌词非常美，我想正是这种爱让rosanna能健康地成长，在爱的沐浴下无阴影地长大，才取得今天的成绩，一句话，教子有方。贴for rosanna的歌词，顺便提一句，这张into the light是chris de burgh是他在美国卖得最好的专辑，lady in red就出自里面。 For Rosanna From Into The Light by Chris de Burgh Year Released: 1986 Playing Time: 3:40 This is for Rosanna, sweet girl of mine, A song for the baby who changed my life, I'll never forget when I saw you first, I thought that my heart would burst, With the love that I have. 被 burgh 兄点了名字, 当然要到来揍热闹, Chris de Burgh 是我十分欣赏的创作歌手. 樓主提及的A Spaceman came traveling是我第一次接触 Chris 的歌. 最近我国航天员杨利伟成功进入太空, 电视台的一个特别节目就用了这曲作为开始的引子. 在一个网站找到这歌的译本, 大家齐来分享. 今天会来看到帖子，很是感动，想不到burgh兄竟拍上如此大段的评论，Chris de Burgh 的专辑《Spanish Train and Other Stories》中有首歌“Old Friend”我很喜欢 ，那是听时是恰恰是大学快要毕业的时期，整个人沉浸在“黯然伤神，唯别尔”的校园空气的里，一边应付最后的毕业考，一边从事同学室友间那些生离死别的仪式活动，人也是格外神经过敏，花溅泪；鸟惊心，深夜间复习时耳边翻来覆去的全是那首”老朋友“，印象不要说有多少深，唉，挺怀念那段时光，哪时伴我的还有simon&garfunkel的”old friends“，以至他们的这种风格的曲子（曲式），至今我都喜爱。 Old friend, so you're in trouble again, you ask me today, To try and find a little time, and maybe buy a glass of wine, Old friend, I'm coming through... burgh兄，现在我耳边流着burgh的激昂深情之声，思绪万千，不能自己 ，想起我们刚刚接触到chris de burgh时，应该说你先发现的，从宁来信杭的来信中，那股欢喜由衷欢呼气息跃然纸上的一幕我记得清清楚楚，想不到我们一喜爱居然已有8年了，心里不禁低吟，time time ，在此真是要感谢网络的好家伙，让你差不多搜刮到他的全部曲子，真是幸福！！ 他在都柏林的那场演唱会我还有拿出听听，嘿嘿。

我是burgh，大概是说了一句不该说的话，我被封Id了，这里的管理好严格啊。不过这样也好，省得与我们最喜欢歌手的名字混淆。 提起chris de burgh，提起simon&garfunkel，就有满肚子的话，墨孩兄，chris de burgh和simon&garfunkel的歌声陪伴着我们度过学校时期，那段迷惘而敏感的青春岁月，现在每次听到old friends，这段酸涩的记忆也会时常随着歌声回到脑海，特别是这句“当岁月艰难，我的心渐已冷去，但是我希望，在每一个夜幕降临之时，那里总会有……总会有老朋友在想念我”总会忍不住唏嘘。永远忘不了我们俩一起唱那首Bridge Over Troubled Water 时的情景。 远在香港的telefox兄喜欢上chris de burgh比我们要早，肯定有些不同的记忆和我们分享，记得telefox曾提过他最喜欢的是A Spaceman came traveling和The Girl With April in Her Eyes。The Girl With April in Her Eyes旋律当然不必说，凄美的要死，我特地去翻了一下这首歌的歌词，歌词和我喜欢的tower有异曲同工之妙，也是取材于古老传说（或者是chris de burgh杜撰的），残忍的国王与弱者的故事，说不出的复杂感觉。

呵呵, 我听 chris 的歌相信是1977年吧, bloom(burgh)兄说八年如一日, 我则是二十多年如一日, 每次听 chris 的歌都带给我无穷想象, 听后有一种很难形容的感觉, 这是其它歌手不能给我的. 昨天说要谈谈 A Spaceman came traveling 这歌给我的感受, 现在开始吧. 我不是教徒, 无宗教信仰, 但歌曲中的婴儿明显是耶稣, 歌曲发表是1975年, 我觉得 chris 对当时社会并不满意, 借 2000年这整数, 借圣人再降临地球, 希望在2000年地球能有真正的和平. 但2000年已过去了3 年, 地球有和平吗? 我看比1975年还不如, 相信 chris 是估计不到.
